Top players to compete in Guiyang Open 2026

Reporters learned from a news conference held in Guiyang on Sept 2 that the Guiyang Open 2026 will be held from Sept 6 to 20 at the Jinyang Tennis Center in Guanshanhu district, and spectators can attend all matches free of charge by presenting their ID cards.

The tournament has been upgraded in scale and will feature 15 days of combined men's and women's competition. With a total prize pool of $70,000, the event will include men's and women's singles and doubles.

The women's events will run from Sept 6 to 13, followed by the men's events from Sept 13 to 20. As the only international tennis tournament in Guizhou, the event's combined men's and women's format and attractive prize money have drawn professional players from around the world.

A total of 160 athletes from 32 countries and regions will compete in the event. China's Bai Zhuoxuan, who has reached a career-high world ranking of No 83, will headline the field. International and Chinese players including Luca Castelnuovo, Ma Yexin, Colin Sinclair, Sofia Costoulas, and Chase Ferguson will also take part, promising fans a series of exciting and high-level matches.
