China Drone Soccer League to kick off in Guiyang

The Guiyang leg of the 2026 China Drone Soccer League and the second Guiyang "Digital City Super League" Drone Soccer Invitational will take place from Aug 27 to 30 at Hall 5 of the Guiyang International Conference & Exhibition Center.

This marks the second consecutive year that the national-level event has been held in Guiyang during the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026 (Big Data Expo 2026). As one of the official branded events of the expo, the competition continues to explore the integration of sports with low-altitude economy technology and innovation.

The event aims to promote the integration of drone soccer with nationwide fitness initiatives and further popularize and develop drone sports in China. The competition is open to participants of all ages, with young players welcome to take part if accompanied by a guardian.

During the event, a public science outreach and interactive experience zone, a parent-child drone experience area and science classes will be available, offering residents an opportunity to experience the appeal of technology-powered sports up close.

According to a representative of the Guiyang sports bureau, Guiyang will continue to advance the integrated development of "sports + technology + industry", injecting new vitality into the city's efforts to become a national model city for fitness and sports.
