Three major sporting events will be held consecutively in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to a news conference held on July 15.
The 2026 National Skateboarding Championships will take place from July 15 to 20 at Guizhou Vocational College of Sports in Huaxi district, bringing together 18 teams from across China.
Two speed skating events – the Guiyang leg of the 2026 National Roller Sports (Speed Skating) Open and the Guiyang leg of the 2026 Asian Speed Skating Track Series – will be held from July 18 to 19 and July 24 to 26, respectively. Teams from several Asian countries, Hong Kong, and Taiwan will participate.
Over the three events, Guiyang will introduce an integrated model that combines sports, markets, culture, tourism, and exchanges. Special cultural and tourism markets will be held alongside the competitions, featuring Taiwan food brands and promoting displays of distinctive Guizhou and Taiwan businesses, as well as cultural interaction.
