Guiyang County-Level Soccer Selection Tournament hits full swing

The 2026 Guiyang County-Level Soccer Selection Tournament saw two exciting matches on April 11.

In one match, Gui'an Zhisuan Team faced Kaiyang County Xiyinli Team. After intense competition, Gui'an Zhisuan Team emerged victorious with a 7-4 win.

Meanwhile, Huaxi Team took on Yunyan Team. Following a hard-fought two-hour battle, Huaxi Team secured a 3-0 victory.

This tournament serves as the official selection platform for the Guiyang representative team that will compete in the 2026 "City Super League" National Championship. A total of 11 teams from 10 districts (county-level cities and counties) of Guiyang and Gui'an New Area have joined the competition.

Players aged from 16 to 50 cover students, working professionals, and amateur soccer enthusiasts. This makes the event a truly grassroots soccer competition with broad public participation.

The core mission of this tournament is to select and form the Guiyang team for the 2026 "City Super League" National Championship, to be held this autumn. Throughout the event, a selection panel appointed by the organizing committee will closely follow every match, identify outstanding local soccer talent, and support them in representing Guiyang on the national stage.
