Guiyang Marathon set for June 14

The 2026 Colorful Guizhou Marathon Super League (Third Stop), also known as the Mengniu · Guiyang Marathon, will take place on June 14, according to a press conference held on April 16.

Registration for the event will close on April 29 based on a "lottery first, payment later" system. Runners can stay updated on registration details, race schedules, and other information via the WeChat accounts "Guiyang Sports" and "Guiyang Marathon".

This year's event features two core races: a full marathon with 10,000 participants and a half marathon with 15,000 people set to compete – both setting new participation records.

The course winds through urban green spaces, including Guanshanhu Park and Yueshan Lake Wetland Park. Along the route, organizers will present intangible cultural heritage performances, folk culture interactions, and designated cheering zones for spectators.

During the race, the organizing committee will provide comprehensive support, including hydration stations, fixed medical points, and ambulances. Runners will also enjoy local Guizhou specialties such as beef rice noodles for energy replenishment. Free public bus and rail transit services, along with dedicated shuttle transport, will be available to participants.
