Liu Shiwen to join ITTF centennial world table tennis event in Guiyang

Chinese table tennis champion Liu Shiwen has confirmed her attendance at a table tennis event in Guiyang, where she will take part in interactive table tennis activities with selected participants.

From April 18 to 20, a nationwide celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) will be held under the theme "Table Tennis in the Park: A Hundred Parks in Action", alongside the 2026 World Table Tennis Day.

The event will take place simultaneously across more than 100 parks in 29 provinces and cities throughout China, with Zhucheng Square in Guiyang as the main venue.

Liu Shiwen, born April 12, 1991, is a five-time World Cup champion, one-time World Champion, three-time ITTF World Tour Grand Finals champion, and four-time Asian Cup champion.
