The Guiyang Citizen Fitness Center held a public welfare event from April 1 to 3, offering free sports guidance and open facilities to young people aged five to 18 across the city.
Nearly 300 participants took part in free training sessions covering nine sports, including swimming, basketball, volleyball, badminton, taekwondo, sanda (Chinese kickboxing), street dance, breaking, and youth sports dance.

With professional coaching provided free of charge, participants not only developed fundamental skills in each sport but also gained a comprehensive understanding of safe and scientific exercise practices.
Following the event, the center introduced long-term preferential policies. The swimming pool now offers half-price admission for teenagers and their guardians, while basketball and badminton courts are open to youth free of charge during designated hours.
Participants are required to present valid identification, such as student IDs or household registration documents. Some activities require participants to bring their own sports equipment.
