Guiyang tennis event pays tribute to 21 years of family sports

The 2026 Guizhou Tennis Invitational and the 21st Guiyang "Family Cup" Tennis Tournament concluded on March 22 at the Jinyang Tennis Center in Guiyang.

As a well-established sports event for the public that has been held for the past 21 years without interruption, this year's tournament reached a new record in terms of participation, attracting 133 teams and 266 tennis enthusiasts.

The competition featured five categories, including Senior Couples, Couples, Parent-Child, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, highlighting the growing popularity of tennis in the region and its integration into everyday life for local residents.

The two-day tournament included 258 matches, with a tight schedule and exciting contests throughout. The Parent-Child category was full of youthful energy, while those who participated in the Couples and Senior Couples categories demonstrated strong teamwork built over years of partnership.

The Men's Doubles featured intense rallies and fast-paced exchanges, while the Mixed Doubles emphasized coordination and strategy, drawing constant applause from spectators.

As an important grassroots sports brand in Guiyang, the "Family Cup" Tennis Tournament continues to expand public participation and promote the development of tennis, becoming an important platform to showcase the city's vibrant fitness culture.
