The campaign features three major components designed to benefit residents of all ages.

First, residential compound-based activities, including basketball, badminton, martial arts, and square dancing, are held, with professional coaches providing on-site guidance.

Second, sports associations have produced instructional videos on activities, such as rope skipping, yoga, and fitness aerobics, enabling residents to learn anytime on their mobile phones and practice in a scientifically informed way.

Third, free nationwide physical fitness monitoring services are being offered, measuring indicators such as strength, flexibility, and balance, and providing personalized exercise advice.

According to Xiao Li, deputy secretary-general of the Secretariat of the Guiyang Sports Federation, more than 10 sports associations have been mobilized to deliver a wide range of fitness-related volunteer services and competitions during the Spring Festival. Activities include pickleball and badminton community programs, as well as an ice-and-snow carnival organized by the roller-skating association.

"I think this kind of citywide fitness activity is great. I really enjoy it," said Wu Yuheng, a resident who came to play badminton.

Next, Guiyang will continue to improve its public sports service system and roll out more fitness activities popular with the public.
