Guiyang to host over 20 world, national sports events

Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will host more than 20 international, national, and local sports events this year.

The city will welcome some top-tier international competitions, including the World Boxing Cup, UIPM World Pentathlon, IFSC Climbing World Cup (Speed Event), and the Asian Mountain Bike Championships.

Additional international events, such as the ITF World Tennis Tour Guiyang Open and the IFSC Asian Youth Championships, will also take place, highlighting Guiyang's growing presence on the global sports stage.

Domestic and emerging sports events are also well represented, including the City Football Invitational Tournament Guiyang, Guiyang and Gui'an Cherry Blossom Half Marathon, Guiyang Marathon, and the World Skate Asia Speed Roller Skating Series.
