Guiyang Badminton Association holds members’ events

The 2025 Members' Cup Badminton Invitational Tournament of the Guiyang Badminton Association, along with the association's annual meeting, kicked off in Guiyang city on Jan 10.

The tournament brought together eight teams formed by association members from a wide range of industries. Breaking away from traditional formats, the competition adopted an innovative team structure that combined retired professional players, experienced amateurs, and newcomers.

The format delivered thrilling matchups between strong contenders and unexpected breakthrough moments from first-time players. All participating teams achieved commendable results and received generous prizes.

At 6:00 pm the same day, the association's annual dinner began. During the event, the Guiyang Badminton Association reviewed its work over the past year and presented a financial report.

An awards ceremony was also held to honor outstanding partners, committee members, association members, and badminton venues for their contributions over the year.

Li-Ning (China) Sports Goods Co was named Best Strategic Alliance Partner. Other honors included Best Corporate Contribution Award, Best Corporate Partner Award, Annual Outstanding Committee Member Award, Annual Outstanding Member Award, and Annual Recommended Clubs and Venues.
