More than 300 young street dancers gathered in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, for the fourth Guizhou Youth Street Dance Open Competition, which concluded on Jan 11 after two days of competition.

Hosted by the Guizhou Gymnastics Sports Development Center and the Guiyang bureau of sports, the competition featured both individual and team competitions. Individual events included Freestyle 2v2, as well as breaking competitions for the U14 girls, U14 boys, U18, and adults, providing a platform for young dancers of different age groups to showcase their skills and exchange ideas.
The competition aimed to further promote street dance, encourage greater youth participation in sports, and support the development of young street dance talent across the province.

The event is part of Guizhou's broader efforts to expand youth sports participation and foster the growth of emerging sports through organized competitions and talent development.
