Over 400 competitors and 30 automobile brands from Southwest, South and Central China participated in the 2025 "Passionate Guizhou – Cool Guiyang" Mountain Series automobile and motorcycle race and the "Water Charm Guizhou – Cool Guiyang" kayaking competition series on Nov 22-23 in Huaxi district, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Jointly hosted by the Guiyang bureau of sports, the Guiyang bureau of commerce, the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, and the Huaxi district government, the event featured five major activities, including a vehicle parade, a national auto off-road race, a forest T3 challenge, a kayaking series, and an awards ceremony. It also introduced women’s categories for the first time and added motorcycle and kayaking events to expand participation.

The event opened with a vehicle parade through Huaxi district, followed by off-road competitions featuring challenging obstacles such as deep-water pits, humps, and sharp turns. The forest T3 challenge and kayaking races were held at Mengguan Forest Farm and Dingguang Lake in Qingyan Ancient Town.
The auto off-road race attracted over 200 vehicles, while the forest T3 challenge and motorcycle race attracted 100 and 200 vehicles, respectively. The kayaking competitions saw 100 participants.
By combining sports and tourism, the event aimed to promote new sports tourism initiatives and boost local economic and industrial development through themed travel programs and outdoor activities.
