CTTA Member League Finals held in Guiyang

The 2025 "Li-Ning · DHS Cup" Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA) Member League Finals were held from Nov 20 to 23, 2025, in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, attracting more than 1,200 amateur players and expats in 30 provinces across China.

Since its launch in February, the 10-month CTTA Member League has featured 18 regional tournaments in 19 cities across 17 provinces, with top-performing teams advancing to the finals.

Hosted by the CTTA and organized by the Guiyang bureau of sports, the finals provided a platform for exchanges among amateur players and helped promote the development of table tennis as a sport for all.

The competition featured men's and women's team events across six age groups. Players competed through group round-robin matches and knockout rounds to determine the final rankings.

On Nov 20, the organizing committee also launched the "Table Tennis in Schools" program.

Wang Hao, head coach of China's men's national table tennis team, visited the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University and Guiyang Wudang District Experimental Primary School to interact with students.

The CTTA and the Guiyang bureau of sports donated 20,000 yuan ($2,944) worth of sports equipment to the two schools.

Wang said youth sports play an important role in developing sportsmanship. He encouraged students to improve their skills and confidence by engaging in more competitions.
