Bird ballet at Guanshanhu Park

The sky above the lake at Guanshanhu Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, burst into life as flocks of grey herons, egrets, and night herons soared together on April 26.

Birds of all sizes moved in harmony, creating a stunning display of nature – "ten thousand birds dancing across the blue sky, wings weaving a tapestry of beauty".

In the trees, large grey herons flapped their wings and called out, some returning to their nests with twigs. On the lake, water birds played and chased each other across the surface. With birds in the sky, trees, and water, the picturesque scene left visitors and park-goers in awe.
