Badminton doubles invitational staged in Guiyang

The 2024 VICTOR "Maoluyuan" Cup Badminton Doubles Mixed Team Invitational (Guiyang Station) was staged on Oct 20 in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The star attraction was the presence of badminton world champion Liu Yuchen, who energized the competition with his appearance.

Liu met and talked with participants, sharing his valuable experiences and he thrilled the audience with a demonstration match – showcasing the excitement of badminton and the grace of the world champion's technique.

Over two days, more than 65 teams from various regions competed fiercely, with players demonstrating their honed skills and determination.

The victorious teams earned applause and recognition for their outstanding teamwork and competitive spirit.

The event not only provided badminton enthusiasts with a platform to display their skills but also further promoted the sport in Guiyang.

Many participants described how the tournament had enhanced their techniques and fostered new friendships. The organizers congratulated the winners and thanked the players, sponsors and staff for their contributions to the event's success.
