2024 ITF World Tennis Tour Guiyang Open kicks off

The 2024 ITF World Tennis Tour Guiyang Open kicked off on Sept 8 in Guiyang city, marking the sixth time the city has hosted a high-profile international tennis event. A total of 214 professional players from 40 countries, including China, the United States, Germany, Australia, and France, have registered to compete.

With a total prize pool of $65,000, the tournament features four categories: Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Men's Singles, and Men's Doubles.

The Women's Singles qualifiers set the stage on Sept 8-9 and will be followed by the Women's Singles competition from Sept 10 to 15. The Women's Doubles final will be held on Sept 14, with the Women's Singles final on Sept 15.

The Men's Singles qualifiers will run from Sept 15 to 17, with the main competition from Sept 17 to 22. The Men's Doubles final is scheduled for Sept 21, with the Men's Singles final closing the tournament on Sept 22.

The event is free, and fans can claim tickets using their ID card. Ticket distribution runs from 9 am to noon from Sept 7 to 22 on a first-come, first-served basis.
