To further promote nationwide fitness and enhance residents' love for table tennis, the third Guiyang City Table Tennis League kicked off in Guiyang city on April 24. According to registration statistics, some 10,000 table tennis enthusiasts are participating in the event, marking an unprecedented scale.

As part of the league, table tennis matches are being held in Nanming, Baiyun, and Guanshanhu districts.

It's understood that the league has been certified by the Chinese Table Tennis Association as a C-level event in the national fitness program, and corresponding points will be awarded to match winners.

The league is divided into selection matches and finals, and covers all 10 districts, counties, and county-level cities in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area. The selection matches will be held in different districts every weekend from April 27 to May 19, with the finals scheduled to take place on May 25 and 26.

To accommodate participants of different ages and skill levels, the league is divided into multiple categories for men's singles and women's singles in various age groups.

During the selection matches, professional coaches will also be invited to provide on-site training and guidance, allowing citizens to improve their table tennis skills while participating as players or spectators.
