Guiyang selected as national model city for national fitness

On March 8, the State General Administration of Sports announced the second batch of model cities for national fitness, with Guiyang city included on the list.

Since the launch of the national fitness model city initiative, provincial-level sports departments have actively mobilized affiliated cities to participate. 

The State General Administration of Sports requires that the listed areas promote national fitness, adhere to practical considerations, continuously meet residents' demand for sports and fitness, and further enhance public satisfaction.

In recent years, Guiyang has been committed to planning sports development that is people-centered, making efforts to create "15-minute fitness circles" and striving to build a higher-level national fitness service system.
