Guiyang athlete wins 3rd place at National Winter Games

At the 14th National Winter Games, held from Feb 17 to 27, Liu Xinpeng from Guiyang city won the bronze medal in the open group of the men's slope style freestyle skiing final at Jinlongshan Ski Resort in Hulunbuir city, Inner Mongolia, on Feb 22.

The competition program aligned comprehensively with the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. It featured eight major categories, covering ice skating, skiing, winter biathlon, curling, ice hockey, bobsleigh, skeleton, and ski mountaineering.

The ice events took place at the Inner Mongolia Ice Sports Training Center in Hailar district, Hulunbuir city. The snow events were held at ski resorts across Hulunbuir city, Chifeng city, and Ulaanqab city.
