Mountainous off-road race kicks off in Guiyang and Gui'an

The mountainous off-road race of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area kicked off on Feb 20 at the Yingxiong Slope of the Limu International Mountain Off-road Car Park in Gui'an, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Car enthusiasts, off-road enthusiasts, and SUV clubs from across the province participated in this thrilling event.

On the day of the race, the roaring sound of engines echoed through the mountains along with the cheers of the audience.

It is reported that the Yingxiong Slope is located on the highest mountain ridge of Limu off-road park, and it is the highest peak between Guiyang and Anshun cities.

The competition lasted two days, and prizes included bacon, sausages, free-range chickens, and other agricultural products.

It is understood that the purpose of this competition is to promote the diversified development of sports and tourism, develop this activity into a brand event for mountain sports in Guizhou, as well as promote rural vitalization.
