The 2023 CTA Tour Hong Kong Open concluded on Nov 26. Guo Meiqi, a tennis professional from Guiyang, along with her partner Wang Meiling, fought tenaciously and ultimately clinched the women's doubles championship at the event.

This also marked Guo's first personal title in the CTA Tour.

The women's doubles final was an intense battle, with Wang Meiling/Guo Meiqi taking the first set 6-0 and securing a 5-2 lead in the second set.

However, their opponents, Lu Jingjing and Xun Fangying, displayed considerable strength, saving three match points and winning five consecutive games to force a decisive tiebreak.

In the tiebreak, Guo and her teammate staged a comeback from a 2-4 deficit, ultimately winning with a scoreline of 6-0, 5-7, 10-5.

Guo, in her post-match analysis, stated, "After losing in the semifinals last week in Guangzhou, we made some adjustments, leveraging Wang's baseline strengths and my strength at the net."
