Soccer match between Russia, Guizhou kicks off

The Zhongke Yunzhi International Soccer Carnival and Match took place at the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 17.

In an exciting international soccer friendly, the Russian Premier League powerhouse, Zenit Saint-Petersburg Soccer Club, faced off against Guizhou Soccer United, featuring players such as Wang Song and Fan Yunlong.

This event attracted thousands of local residents to the stadium, allowing more people to experience the charm of soccer. 

Before the match, Wang said, "It is a great honor to exchange experiences with Zenit Saint-Petersburg. We will enjoy the game, and hope to deliver the most splendid performance for our hometown fans."

Saveli Nikiforov, a player from Zenit Saint-Petersburg, expressed his surprise at the enthusiasm of the Guizhou fans.

"I never expected such passionate fans in Guizhou. Their cheers and support made me feel more confident and powerful during the game," he said.
