The 2023 "Panoramic Guizhou" Road Cycling Race (Guiyang City and Guian New Area Division) kicked off at Yunman Lake in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 18. The event attracted 986 cycling enthusiasts from across China.

The race started from the square in front of the square of Yunman Lake Scenic Area ticket office and circled around the lake, returning to the square after completing an eight-kilometer lap. The race had different categories, ranging from one lap to six laps.

Yunman Lake, the event's main venue, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction known for its natural landscapes and Swiss-style architecture, making it a symbolic scenic spot in Guian.

It is reported that the "Panoramic Guizhou" Road Cycling Race is an independent IP event created by the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau. The event takes full advantage of the beauty of natural resources in various locations, designing cycling activities tailored to the local environment.

By hosting such events, Guizhou has been actively exploring the development strategy of "sports + tourism", continuously enriching the sports industry and contributing to the construction of Guizhou as a province strong in characteristic sports.
