Camp industry takes root in Guiyang

The 2023 China International Camping (Guiyang) ICL Industrial Investment and Operation Conference opened in Tongyuan Auto Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 18. The theme of the conference is "Cool Tour, Camp in Guiyang".

Xu Ning, president of the Guizhou Sports Tourism Association, said that in recent years, Guizhou has begun making progress in sports tourism. The holding of the conference is expected to inject new impetus into sports tourism in the province.

The conference lasted for three days, and discussed projects included the "2023 China international camping (Guiyang) ICL industrial investment and operation forum", "new energy vehicle exhibition", "off-road vehicle driving experience", "camping brand exhibition" and more.

During the forum, international and domestic tourism experts, institutional tourism investors, and outdoor equipment suppliers were invited to discuss the status quo and future development trends in the camping industry.

The conference also attracted Smart, AITO and other new energy vehicle brands, as well as Sichuan Ya'an Tianquan Service Area Panda Theme Camp and other leading domestic camping brands.
