Guiyang Marathon to run in June

The 2023 Guiyang Marathon will start on June 10 in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

This event includes a full marathon, half marathon and mini marathon, with up to 25,000 people allowed to sign up.

In order to encourage more high-level runners to take part in the competition, unprecedented prizes have been set for the full marathon and half marathon, and the number of both male and female winners has increased to 30 in total.

The cool climate in Guiyang will make runners more comfortable during the competition, competition groups are suitable for people of all ages, and the course will pass by Guanshanhu Park, Yueshanhu Wetland Park, Quanhu Park and other green spaces.

Registration for the competition will be open until May 12. Runners can register through the WeChat account or official website of the Guiyang Marathon. The registration fee for the full marathon is 180 yuan ($26) per person, the half marathon is 150 yuan per person, and the mini marathon is 80 yuan per person.

Founded in 2014, the Guiyang Marathon has been held six times and was named a "Gold Medal Race" by the Chinese Athletics Association.
