The fifth Xiwang Mountain Cross-country Race kicked off in Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 19. More than 1,000 athletes from all over the country participated in the race.

It is reported that the event has been certified by the International Trail Running Association (ITRA). After a three-year hiatus, Xifeng restarted the event this year.

This race is divided into four categories: the 42 kilometer, 30 km, 20 km and 10 km events. The altitude of the running paths is about 2,400 meters, 1,500 m, 1,100 m and 320 m, respectively. Correspondingly, the cut-off times of the events are 10 hours, 8 hours, 6 hours and 2.5 hours.

On the day of the event, observers enjoyed Xifeng delicacies while they waited for the runners to finish their races.

At the same time, the event's organizing committee cooperated with three hot spring enterprises, 27 accommodation enterprises and nine catering enterprises to carry out preferential activities that everyone could enjoy.
