Soccer event ends in Guiyang

The final match of the 16th "Jinzhu Cup" soccer competition was held at a multi-functional soccer field in Guiyang on Feb 26.

After fierce competition, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation team won the championship in the elite category. According to player Cheng Lei, the team was established more than 30 years ago and has won the championship title many times before.

The Guimiao Fruit Team, which was established in June 2022, won this year's National Fitness Team Award. The youngest female player in the team is only 18 years old. "We organize competitions and training sessions every week, and anyone who likes soccer can join us. At present, there are 10 female players in the team," said Cheng Jiming, the coach of the team.

Guiyang will go on to hold the Guiyang Soccer Association Cup Competition this year. In addition, the city also plans to organize campus and community soccer activities for local residents.
