11 sports tourism routes recommended across Guizhou

The Guizhou Bureau of Sports recently released and 11 recommended golden sports tourism routes in the province, which include ice and snow sports, cave exploration, outdoor running trails, mountain biking, outdoor training, low-altitude sports, hiking, and rock climbing.

It is reported that the selection of these golden sports tourism routes will play a major factor in establishing a national sports tourism demonstration zone in Guizhou.

The bureau has linked the scattered sports tourism resources and products throughout the province to form routes, aiming to attract sports tourism enthusiasts across the country to travel to Guizhou and experience its unique charm. In turn, this will help Guizhou to create a national sports tourism demonstration area that features outdoor sports in sub-plateau mountainous areas.

Among these routes, Guiyang's route includes the Shanleming Sports Theme Challenge Park in Huaxi district, Heiwen Qingyun Market Store in Nanming district, Jiye City Camp in Yunyan district, the Taoyuan River Scenic Spot in Xiuwen county, and the Yunzhongjun Parachute Base in Kaiyang county.

The line connects five districts and counties in Guiyang and fully combines their night economy.
