Hiking event held in Guiyang

Hongyan Valley Camp launched a hiking activity in Huaxi district in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 5.

The purpose of the activity is to bring a happy and healthy sports atmosphere for outdoor sports enthusiasts, while also promoting national fitness.

The whole hiking course is about 21 kilometers, with the highest altitude being 1,110 meters. Paved with hardened pavement, and mainly including stone slabs, steps and other trails, the whole journey was divided into two routes: 21 kilograms (the competitive group) and 10 km (the experience group).

It is reported that the camp is equipped to receive more than 400 people at the same time, and will be developed into a national sports tourism demonstration base. It will integrate mountain sports, leisure and vacation, research and education, ecological tourism and other functions.
