Guiyang athlete shines at national taekwondo event

At the 2022 National Youth Taekwondo Championships (Group A) on Dec 27 last year, Shen Zinuo, an athlete trained at Guiyang Sports Middle School, won first place in the women's under 59 KG category.

It is understood that due to the epidemic, the National Youth Taekwondo Championship (Group A) has not been held for two years.

After the major adjustments of China's COVID-19 control policies on Dec 6, 2022, in order to better develop taekwondo events and young athletes, the competition started on Dec 26 in Chongqing. The three-day competition attracted 299 athletes from 24 delegation teams across the country.

After the competition, Shen said in an interview that this was her first national championship and she will continue to train hard to win more competitions.
