Guiyang athletes make strong showing at aviation model competition

The aviation model competition of the 11th Guizhou Provincial Games came to a successful close at the Qingzhen Sports Training Base in Southwest China's Guizhou province on Dec 25. Athletes from the Guiyang team won five golds, one silver and five bronzes at the competition.

Thirty-two athletes in seven teams from the province competed in eight aviation model events in the competition, which showcased the strong sportsmanship of the athletes and professional refereeing level of the judges.

Guiyang will take the competition as an opportunity to focus on promoting aviation model sports and broaden the training channels for aviation model sports talent.
