Guiyang gradually improves sports facilities

The Guiyang bureau of sports recently announced the results of statistical survey of sports venues in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

As of Dec 31, 2021, there were 12,479 sports venues in Guiyang, 10,247 of which were outdoors and 2,232 of which were indoors.

Guiyang was home to 14.19 million square meters of sports grounds, of which 13.14 million sq m were outdoor and 1.05 million sq m were indoor.

The per capita sports ground area in the city was 2.32 sq m per person.

So far, 20 new multi-purpose stadiums in Guiyang have been built and will open to the public soon.
