Guiyang athletes shine in provincial games

The 11th Games of Guizhou Province were held in July and divided into two groups: competitive sports and mass sports.

The provincial games are the top comprehensive sporting event in Guizhou and are held every four years. A total of 1,294 athletes from Guiyang are participating in all 24 competitive events and 36 mass events in this year's event.

On July 25, the expedition ceremony of the Guiyang delegation was held at the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center. Athlete Zou Wei and coach Lu Hao spoke on behalf of the athletes and coaches, saying they will give every event their all in the name of all Guiyang athletes.

The Guiyang delegation has so far won 45 gold medals, including table tennis men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's doubles.
