Passionate dance trials held in Guiyang

The 2022 Guiyang Sports Dance Trials were recently held at the Guiyang Sports Culture Park Gymnasium, hosted by the Guiyang bureau of sports.

The 11th Guizhou Provincial Games Mass Event Sports Dance Competition will be held in the city of Liupanshui in the province from June 9 to 11.

The purpose of the trial is to stimulate enthusiasm for national fitness among residents and select outstanding athletes for a Guiyang dance team to participate in the provincial competition.

During the trial, adult athletes shined, bringing a visual feast to audiences with their rumba, lively bullfighting, and elegant waltz.

The youth group was no less impressive.

After nearly three hours of fierce competition between 120 players from 17 representative teams in the city, 21 contestants were announced as the winners in their respective categories.

"There were many highlights. The adult group and the youth group have both made great progress since last year," said the referee Hu Ximu.
