Guiyang tennis center staff members have fire safety training

The Guiyang Tennis Sports Management Center – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – arranged for all of its Party members, cadres, coaches, athletes and logistics staff members to have fire safety training on April 8.

Instructor Ni Rugang from the Guizhou Fire Service Center gave lectures at the center. He played videos showing examples of fires in the surrounding area in recent years and explained the causes of them – providing the basic facts and giving advice on how to prevent such accidents, or how to escape them.

At the same time, he demonstrated safety equipment such as dry powder fire extinguishers, water-based fire extinguishers and fire blankets. Ni also answered questions from the staff and covered the answers to common fire safety questions.

After the training, the Guiyang Tennis Sports Management Center conducted an investigation of potential safety hazards in the canteen, tennis courts, athletes' dormitories and warehouses and put together action plans based on its findings.
