The results of the third Guizhou Martial Arts Elite Competition were recently released. There were 220 first-place winners, 408 second-place winners, and 348 third-place winners.

The competition was hosted by the city of Qingzhen under the jurisdiction of Guiyang. There were four major items, including boxing and Tai Chi.

World Tai Chi champion Long Jiaoer and international martial arts all-around champion Guo Jing were invited to the event as ambassadors. Nearly 1,000 martial arts enthusiasts from all over the world participated.

To ensure the competition's fairness, the organizing committee invited Zhong Mingying – a national-level social sports instructor and referee of martial arts routines – to serve as chief referee of the competition and formed a professional referee team.

Zhong said that the continuous holding of the competition has turned martial arts into one of Guizhou's calling cards and has played a significant role in promoting the development of martial arts in the province.
