Outdoor sports competition invigorates Guiyang

The 2022 Guiyang Qianling Mountain FKT Speed Climbing Spring Competition was held in Guiyang on Feb 26 with 70 contestants taking part.

The contestants set out from Qianlingshan Sports Park at 6:30 in the morning and arrived at their destination of Daluoling Mountain.

This is the 11th race of the Qianling Mountain Speed Climbing Competition. It has a total length of 6.1 kilometers and a cumulative climbing distance of about 600 meters. Contestants must use both speed and endurance, which requires high professionalism and physical fitness.

After fierce competition, Li Xun won first place for men with a time of 1 hour 9 seconds, and Fan Lina won for women with a time of 1 hour 8 minutes.

The competition has been held many times, attracting people of different ages, and the average age of the contestants is gradually getting younger. Students from Guiyang Experimental No 2 Middle School participated for the first time this year, injecting fresh blood into the event.
