Youth gymnastics program begins in Guiyang

The gymnastics portion of the 2021 Guiyang Youth Training Program was officially launched in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 1, with 15 young athletes participating, according to local media reports.

The training session included a 50-meter sprint, one minute of rope skipping, one minute of sit-ups and a standing long jump.

The youth training program aims to promote sports among children and improve their fitness levels.
