Guiyang athletes win medals at 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities

Athletes from Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, won a total of 12 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 24 bronze medals at the recently-concluded 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the eighth National Special Olympic Games, reports Guiyang Daily.

At the 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, Guiyang athletes won four gold medals, three silver medals, and five bronze medals in badminton women's singles, men's singles, women's doubles, men's doubles, mixed doubles and several other events.

At the eighth National Special Olympic Games, Guiyang athletes won eight gold medals, nine silver medals and 19 bronze medals in track and field, table tennis, bowling and several other events.
