Outdoor smart gym to debut at Guanshan Lake Park

The first outdoor intelligent gymnasium in Guizhou will debut at Guanshan Lake Park in Guiyang, with all fitness facilities in the gym available to residents free of charge. 

The gym was reportedly supported by the General Administration of Sport of China, the Sport Administration of Guizhou Province, and the Guiyang bureau of sports, and was donated by Good Family Fitness Co. 

What really distinguishes the gym from formal ones is that with the assistance and guidance of the intelligent system installed at these facilities, residents manage to check on their body condition and fitness results in real time. They can also invite friends to participate in sports with the intelligent fitness facilities. 

Chunks of solar cells have been installed on the top of the equipment, offering power for lights and electronic displays, which are also installed in the equipment.

The intelligent system will provide people with different types of fitness facilities and work-out plans based on the results of facial recognition and analysis. People also have access to real-time data, such as calories consumed, by scanning the QR code on the facility, and these data will appear on users' mobile phones. 

Every outdoor intelligent gym contains five areas – a physique testing area, a physical training area, a smart competition area, a recreational area, and a warm-up area.
