Junior speed roller skating championship gets rolling in Guiyang

The 2021 Guiyang Junior Speed Roller Skating Championship kicked off in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, and held an opening ceremony on July 29, according to local media reports.

The two-day event drew in 139 young roller skaters from 10 representative teams from culture, sports, radio, and film and tourism bureaus as well as roller skating associations, schools and clubs from different districts, cities, and counties in Guiyang.

This event included three events: 200-meter time trial, 500-meter time trial and 1000-meter time trial.
