The 2021 Qingdao Marathon was held in Qingdao in East China's Shandong province on May 4, attracting the participation of 25,000 runners from across the nation.
Huang Yongzheng, a runner from Guiyang Sports Middle School, participated in the event and won the men's full marathon group. With a time of 2 hours, 15 minutes and 3 seconds, he set a new personal-best record and achieved the best result of domestic participants in the Qingdao Marathon.
The event also attracted the participation of many excellent runners from around the country, such as Li Zicheng, champion of the Wuxi Marathon, and Guan Yousheng, winner of the Xi'an Marathon.
