Guiyang prepares teams for 2022 football competition

The Guiyang women's cage football training team for Guizhou's 11th provincial games was established and started training on Jan 20 at the Linquan football park in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Members of the training squad include professional women's football players from Guiyang, youth training coaches and college students. The athletes represent the highest competitive level of women's football players in Guiyang.

Following technical skills training, the team participated in a competition with Guiyang's middle-aged and elderly football team so that coaches can observe the players' competitive level and adjust their training plan as necessary.

The Guiyang men's cage football training team for Guizhou's 11th provincial games will follow a similar selection process to the women's team, and training will be carried out under strict COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures.

Guizhou's 11th provincial games will be held in Liupanshui city in 2022.
