Guiyang primary school promotes gymnastics to students

Coaches from the Guiyang gymnastics team offered a lesson for students on Jan 5 at Guiyang Experimental Primary School in Yunyan district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

They taught simple gymnastics moves and basic skills to the students and guided their practice. The fitness lesson aimed to popularize gymnastics knowledge and cultivate a love for gymnastics among students.

The event was part of Guiyang's series of sports promotion activities, which the Guiyang Bureau of Sports launched to promote a healthy lifestyle and improve students' overall fitness level. The series of events covers football, tennis, gymnastics and other sports.
