Guiyang emphasizes winter security

A training course on security during winter took place at the Guiyang Chess Institute on Dec 25 -- in Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- with all the cadres and workers of the institute and members of Guiyang Veteran's Sports Association in attendance, according to local media reports..

The course focused on knowledge of travel, electricity and fire safety. 

The trainer also instructed participants on how to operate various extinguishers and how to escape in case of emergency.

The training was followed by a conference.
